Water Ballet

IMG_4785Water Ballet is a fitness class for older adults consisting of beautiful flowing ballet exercises that are all done in the water. The program launched with great success at The Gatesworth (one of the “Nation’s top 10 Retirement Communities” according to Forbes Magazine).

The class is led by a professional ballet dancer as participants enjoy flowing ballet barre movements and steps while toning and stretching muscles using the natural resistance of the water. Easy on the joints, this class is perfect for active seniors looking for a fun, gentle and effective way to exercise in the water.
